Windows Setup Guide

  1. Download AssetManagementSystem-Setup.exe from your approved download source and run as administrator.
  2. Choose a fresh local database, preserve an existing database, or configure remote/cloud MongoDB.
  3. Test the connection successfully before continuing. Fresh mode rejects a database that already contains data.
  4. Set and confirm the Root administrator password. During an upgrade, leave both password fields blank to retain the existing login.
  5. Finish setup, open the portal, complete organization registration, and sign in.
  6. Start the trial explicitly or activate a paid licence. Configure categories, users, and discovery before importing production assets.
